A Bushfire Hazard Assessment or management plan is generally required for any development triggered by mapping from Local Council Planning Schemes and/or the State Planning Policy (SPP) for Natural Hazards (Bushfire). A building specific bushfire report (BAL report) is also likely to be required where a dwelling house is proposed to be constructed in a bushfire prone area.
