Rick Galbraith

Principal Consultant

Rick is a Principal Consultant who has worked extensively throughout southern inland Queensland for the past 25 years as a natural resource management practitioner with a particular focus on vegetation and bushfire. 


During this time Rick has worked with Regional, State and Federal Governments, Regional Natural Resource Management (NRM) bodies, Landcare and community groups, developers and consultancy organisations.


Rick is a Suitably Qualified Person (SQP) for bushfire and ecological surveying, and has been assessed to be a Competent Person to give help for building certifying functions relating to building design or specification and/or inspection of the building work. Rick is tertiary qualified and has completed various botanical training programs and workshops through the Queensland Herbarium including: Regional Ecosystem Identification and BioCondition – a condition assessment framework for terrestrial biodiversity In Queensland.


Rick has completed numerous botanical surveys, environmental and bushfire assessments and related projects throughout southern Queensland.  Selected projects that Rick has completed throughout his career are provided below to demonstrate his capabilities and experience in the identification and management of protected plant species.
